This was my first show as a Trainee Assistant Art Director. My responsibilities included helping with set design tasks and administrative functions to keep the art department running smoothly, but the thing I did most was have fun and get a good start designing A LOT of graphics for use in the show, both hero and background. My work included many of the background comic covers, posters, signage, logos, and greeking. Some of my “hero” work included designing the logo, cans, bottles and cardboard 6-pack carrier for the fictional energy drink featured in the show, “NVR SLEEP.”

As we were making graphics for TV, emphasis was put on quality and speed, and as such we were granted liberal use of iStock, so some of the more complex assets originated there. A selection of my work, maybe about a third of what I generated in total for the show, is available for perusal below.
